‘In a lowly cattle shed’
A Free Christmas Concert
with Mid Wales Opera

We’re thrilled to be presenting our first live concerts since March in the heart of Mid Wales at Machynlleth cattle market.

Our free Christmas concerts on December 12 and 19 have been organised with help from Machynlleth based singer Robyn Lyn Evans who is performing on both days. Tickets are limited and must be booked in advance by emailing admin@midwalesopera.co.uk and there will be three 40 minute performances each day at 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm.

Our audiences will be socially distanced in household bubbles and each group will be allocated a sheep or cattle pen to stand in. We’re removing the doors of the pens to reduce contact with the market infrastructure and if you want a seat please bring a chair along with you.

Most importantly though, each concert will feature four singers and a programme ranging from carols to Christmas classics such as Let it Snow and White Christmas. Our Music Director Jonathan Lyness is playing the piano and we will be taking donations in support of Mid Wales Opera’s work.

Tickets must be booked in advance by emailing admin@midwalesopera.co.uk or by ringing 07764 171259.
