Welsh bass-baritone Emyr Wyn Jones studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. His roles include Cadmus Semele and Sacristan Tosca (Mid Wales Opera), First Priest/Cover Papageno The Magic Flute and Leporello Don Giovanni (Longborough Festival Opera), Farmer/Ensemble Simplicius Simplicissimus (Independent Opera), Figaro Le Nozze di Figaro and Bonzo Madama Butterfly (Mediterranean Opera Studio Festival, Sicily) and Colline La bohème (Opera North and Grange Park Opera). Awards while studying included RWCMD HRH Prince of Wales Scholarship, Dame Shirley Bassey Vocal Award, and the Opera Awards Foundation. Plans include Colline La bohème for MWO.
