Kiefer Jones received classical training at Bangor University with Marian Bryfdir. Since graduating with a first-class honours degree in music Kiefer works as a freelance singer/voice teacher, lecturing in performance for Coleg Menai in North Wales. During September 2017 Kiefer began studies at the RWCMD, Cardiff under baritone, Donald Maxwell. Kiefer attended Glyndebourne’s prestigious academy course in 2017.
In 2018 Kiefer performed his first professional role with Opra Cymru, (Dr. Malatesta in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale). Following this he was nominated for the Gus Christie Award from Glyndebourne. Kiefer will sing Aeneas for Mid-Wales Opera this spring.
