Mid Wales Opera aims to reach ten thousand people across the UK every year, travelling some five thousand miles to get to those places that other opera companies don’t reach! We bring the very best opera in accessible, entertaining and high quality productions to theatres across the country, offering many people their only opportunity to experience the "real thing" in a venue close to home.

Achieving all this costs: in the region of
£0.5 million every year...

We are fortunate to have a broad network of supporters, from the Arts Councils of Wales and England, trusts and foundations, to Friends and sponsors: testament to the quality, integrity and value of our work. Work we couldn’t do without their help.

Our Patron's Circle

Formed in 2013 our Patron's Circle supports us through regular donations and is open to anyone who would like to help sustain opera, young artists and Mid Wales Opera's work in particular.  In collaboration with a Syndicate created specifically to support our 25th anniversary production of Carmen in 2014, the Patron's Circle made a significant contribution to the success of the project.  If you are interested in getting involved please read on here or contact us for a chat about how you can help on admin@midwalesopera.co.uk
